DIY Helping Hands

This simple «project» was a solution a came up with to be able to solder components specially in big boards since the helping hands you can buy in a store usually aren’t strong enough or they tip over if you try to hold something kind of heavy.

Then, since I was already going to do it, I thought that adding a piece of wood to be able to solder on top of it, a fan and a couple LEDs could be useful so I did and it turned a out to be a pretty good idea.

As you will see in the video I tried to use household materials so anyone could build one of those.

There is still a lot of improvements that can be made like components holder, iron support, an AC wall adapter… you name it!

Any good ideas are welcome. I hope you like it!
